We monitor strategic technologies on two levels:
> The " micro " level: We carry out ongoing monitoring through our web section "Welcome is watching you", published in our bimonthly newsletter. We aim to select relevant articles from the tourism sector and the broader entrepreneurial ecosystem, to keep on top of the latest innovations.
> The " macro " level: Each year we publish a guidebook to the latest innovation trends in the tourism industry. The purpose of this collaborative effort is to look through the prism of new companies on a nationwide scale, and identify the major trends of tomorrow.
This forward-looking vision helps us support our partners in their perception of market trends, and helps startups position themselves to take advantage of the fastest-growing new market segments.
After the success of the first Trend Book, published in 2016, we thought it was only natural to repeat the slightly mad undertaking of examining the major trends in innovation that will shape the tourist sector of the future.
This year, more than fifty contributors have taken part in writing the Trend Book. Their profiles are deliberately diverse: entrepreneurs, expert, researchers, university lecturers, institutionalists and professionals.
